After a 5-year hiatus, San Jose’s Hedley Club is again presenting jazz!

It’s a beautiful bar with high ceilings and good sound. It will be great to be back at a place we shared so much music over the years!

As an antidote to sappy, sentimental Christmas tunes, Maria Muldaur has collected some wonderfully hip, swinging, humorous and irreverent Christmas songs by her favorite Jazz and Blues artists. She and her Jazzabelle Quintet present her special "Holiday Swing" show of "Christmas tunes for Hipsters."

As an antidote to sappy, sentimental Christmas tunes, Maria Muldaur has collected some wonderfully hip, swinging, humorous and irreverent Christmas songs by her favorite Jazz and Blues artists. The tribute to Duke Ellington's timeless classic "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)" promises to be an extraordinary celebration of jazz, featuring the mesmerizing talents of Oakland's sultry jazz singer Kim Nalley and the remarkable SF jazz stylist Paula West. 

Under the expert guidance of Musical Director Tammy Hall, the performance is expected to deliver a rich tapestry of sound that honors the legacy of Ellington.
