(September 2011) This fall some exciting things are happening - look for performances with Pamela Rose and Wild Women of Song at the Monterey Jazz Festival, (webcast on NPR) and the San Francisco Jazz Festival.

(September 2010) After a great summer of jazz festivals, jazz camps and just fun music, this fall is shaping up to be just as happening! Looking forward to gigs with my band in the Bay Area, concerts with Novo Tempo in the Northwest, the first tour of our new band, "New Almaden Trio", in California and Oregon, more fun wth Pamela Rose and Wild Women of Song, and the release of New Almaden cellist Renata Bratt's CD, " A Slice of Summer"

(June 2010) Just finished a great trip to London with Pamela Rose and Wild Women of Song! Looking forward to a great summer of playing and teaching - check out the calendar for some fun upcoming gigs.

(Dec 2009) As this year comes to a close, I am grateful for all who have supported my performances here and in Canada! We'll start out 2010 with a performance in Denver, and then Crossing Borders returns to the Northwest for some gigs at the end of January. Work is starting on a new Kristen Strom CD as well.

(Jan 2009) Check out the spring/summer dates on the calendar page, and watch for Crossing Borders as we play some Bay Area dates! We will be in the Northwest and Canada in September/October '09.

(November 2007) Kristen has recently recorded a new CD with dynamic Vancouver jazz vocalist Jennifer Scott. The album is called “Crossing Borders” and was released in January 2008. Kristen and Jennifer toured the West Coast of the US and Canada in January and February. You can follow their progress at www.crossingbordersmusic.com.
